Fraser Riverkeeper is a Canadian charity (no. 862234374R0001); all donations receive a charitable tax reciept.
We rely on the support of individuals like you in our efforts to protect and defend the Fraser River and its surrounding waters. We work hard to keep our administration and fundraising costs low, so every dollar you donate can help restore environmental justice to our communities.
Membership Highlights
- For every donation, you will receive a charitable tax receipt.
- For every donation of $20.00 or more, an annual membership, including newsletters and important event and river news information.
- For every donation of $50.00 or more, an annual membership including the above plus a year’s subscription to Waterkeeper Magazine.

- Sample and photo-document a pollution crime
- Dock our boat and pay boat insurance; the boat is key to maintaining our presence on the water and being active in a number of communities
- Cover the costs of fuel
- Develop a student training program for science students
- Spend as much time on the water and in the community as possible
- Remain actively involved in public education by hosting a community booth in educational and celebratory river and salmon festivals
- Cover costs associated with the identification of pollution hotspots, data collection, and water sampling
- Engage in shoreline cleanups
- Actively participate in the judicial inquiry into the salmon decline and other legal investigations
