Fraser Riverkeeper will have a community booth at this year’s Mountain Equipment Co-Op’s Paddlefest, on June 20th at Jericho Beach in Vancouver.
Hosted by MEC, Paddlefest is an urban celebration of kayaking, canoeing, and BC’s ocean environment. The day will feature learning opportunities on water and on land. Paddlers of all skill levels are welcome. Fraser Riverkeeper has participated in this event for the past couple years, raising awareness of Fraser Riverkeeper’s interventions, and community programs.
This year we will be raffling tickets to win a pair of Jack Johnson’s tickets for his upcoming October 1st concert at GM Place. Jack Johnson has chosen Fraser Riverkeeper again as one of its charities. Please stop by our booth at Paddlefest, say hello, and buy a raffle ticket for 10.00 to enter in the drawing for the Jack Johnson concert! If you buy two tickets, you become an annual member of Fraser Riverkeeper with a chance of also winning a t-shirt.
That’s $20.00 for double the chance to win a pair of tickets to see Jack Johnson on October 1st, an annual Fraser Riverkeeper membership, and a chance at winning a t-shirt. The final drawing will be held at our TD Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup event on September 25 near Stanley Park.
