Sept. 25th – TD Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup

This year’s World Rivers Day celebration of the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup is Fraser Riverkeeper’s 3rd annual beach restoration with TD. This year we will be cleaning up Stanley Park Second Beach between Lagoon Drive and Park Lane. Our cleanup will begin at 9:15 a.m. on September 25th.

MEC Paddlefest – Win Jack Johnson tickets!

Fraser Riverkeeper will have a community booth at this year’s Mountain Equipment Co-Op’s Paddlefest, on June 20th at Jericho Beach in Vancouver.

Hosted by MEC, Paddlefest is an urban celebration of kayaking, canoeing, and BC’s ocean environment. The day will feature learning opportunities on water and on land. Paddlers of all skill levels are welcome. Fraser Riverkeeper

Fraser Riverkeeper’s Annual Earth Day Cleanup at Pegleg Gravel Bar, Chilliwack

Fraser Riverkeeper, in partnership with Woodtone, the City of Chilliwack, Rotz Disposal, and other friends of the Fraser River, cleaned up Pegleg Gravel Bar in Chilliwack on Sunday, April 18th, to honor Earth Day.
