Alicia Elgert

Community Science Coordinator

As our Community Science Coordinator, Alicia fosters stewardship between communities and the nature that surrounds them. She is responsible for volunteer engagement and operates the Vancouver Water Monitoring Hub on the unceded, traditional, and ancestral territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), səl̓ilwətaɁɬ (Tsleil-Waututh), and Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) Nations. Alicia is passionate about species at risk, ecological restoration, climate justice, and Indigenous sovereignty. Her watermark is the rocky shoreline of Neck Point Park.
