You're invited to join Fraser Riverkeeper, MEC's Big Chop Paddle Series and the Vancouver Open Water Swim Association to celebrate clean, swimmable and paddleable water! 

Who: YOU!

When: Thursday, July 23rd from 6:00pm - 9:30pm

What: A night to celebrate clean swimmable, paddleable, splashable. Join us for a timed swim at Kits Beach or a paddle race starting in Vanier Park followed by a salmon burger BBQ and lots of prizes from Patagonia and more! Spectators always welcome!

Where: Vancouver Ocean Sports Compound

 

SWIMMERS

Meet the Vancouver Open Water Swim Association for their regular practice at Kits Beach starting at 6:00pm. On this special evening volunteers will be on site to time the swimmers for either a 1.5km or 3km swim.

Swim: $5 drop-in fee or free with VOWSA membership

BBQ: $5-$10 minimum suggested donation to Fraser Riverkeeper

PADDLERS

Meet the Big Chop team at the Vancouver Ocean Sports Compound at 6:00pm to register and get your boat in the water. Race starts at 7:00pm!

Paddle & BBQ: $10 to Big Chop

All swimmers, paddlers, spectators and water lovers are welcome to join us for a BBQ and prizes at the Vancouver Ocean Sports Compound starting at 8:00pm. See you there!
