Join us for a paddle or swim followed by a delicious salmon burger BBQ supported by Sapperton Save-On Foods, fruit-infused waters, prizes and music by Jabuti the Tortoise at the Vancouver Ocean Sports compound near Vanier Park in Kitsilano (site of the regular Big Chop series).

In Vancouver we’re lucky to be surrounded by incredible waterways where we can explore, challenge ourselves and have fun. Swimmable Water Weekend is a global event recognizing the important role that water plays in our lives and in our community.

Fraser Riverkeeper is a non-profit registered charity in Canada, and we’re member of the international Waterkeeper Alliance. Along with prizes, refreshments, food and goodies, we will be presenting displays on stormwater pollution and some simple and effective conservation tips to help us keep our waterways clean.
